The fight song will be tested for memory and correct notes, so I am sure you will be hearing this song alots for the next few weeks. Sept. 10 will be the day of this first test. As normally happens, chairs will be arranged according to the results. Your children should also start working on the region band music,which also includes the scales. Region tryouts happen in November 13.
When the three pages from the handbook are returned, each page will be worth 100 points on your first six weeks grades. They should be turned in by the Aug. 30 date for full credit to be given. Looking forward to seeing all of our students.
We will not be using horns the first day of school. Tuesday will be instruments as usual. Handbooks will be reviewed the first day. Please read and sign the last three pages and turn in as soon as you can. Keep the page with all the performance dates on the fridge
Summer band was a sucess. We had 84 students show up the first day. We were able to get through each song in our marching folders. I was very proud of everyone who attended summer band.
